why beam camps
TODAY'S PLAY.
TOMORROW'S
POSSIBILITIES.
Beam is built on a simple belief. When kids get space to play with purpose, try on roles, test ideas, create boldly, and feel proud, they grow into the kind of humans you hope they’ll be.
BEAM CAMPS ARE
- STEAM-based with science, art, and design thinking in small groups.
- Montessori-inspired with choice-based stations and independence routines, supported by educators.
- Aligned to Alberta K to Grade 4 learning through inquiry, creativity, and confidence building.

BEAM CAMP BLUEPRINT
Kids move through prepared stations with real choice and clear boundaries. That means hands-on materials, simple routines, and the kind of independence that builds confidence. Stations typically include a lab table, art studio, design corner, and build zone.
Every camper has a place. Kids rotate roles each day so they can try different strengths, collaborate, and practice leadership. Think chemist, designer, maker, materials manager, and photographer. It keeps the week fresh and helps kids feel capable.
Each day includes two outdoor blocks, plus simple team missions that turn the day into an adventure. Kids might map, collect, test, build, or solve a challenge outside, then bring discoveries back into the studio. It adds movement, teamwork, and real-world learning.
